Dennis Albers grew up in western Kansas and received a Bachelor of Arts with
specialized study in Cartography from the University of Kansas in 1985. He
backpacked through Europe in 1973. Dennis spent almost five years in the U.S.
Air Force and was stationed worldwide.
He loves to travel and enjoys the culture of different countries.
An avid KU basketball fan, Dennis likes pro football better than
college football and prefers college basketball over pro
basketball. Dennis loves the outdoors and nature, however, he is
allergic to all trees.
Dennis traveled to Sudan with Akot during the 2005 JumpStart Sudan
mission; many of his photographs are found on this web site.
