Jane A. Ashcraft
joined the board of JumpStart Sudan in 2004 after meeting Akot at a
City of Olathe Diversity Forum and hearing about the plight of the
southern Sudanese. She uses her graphic design skills to promote
JumpStart
Sudan and
learned web design so she could take on the website. After an
absence of two years, Jane returned to the board in 2010.
Jane has also
volunteered for and worked as an independent contractor with
Sudan Sunrise, a nonprofit organization founded by JSS Board
Member, Rev. Tom Prichard in 2005, which seeks to facilitate
reconciliation in Sudan.
