Tom Prichard Janis Ricker John Ross			Tom Prichard met Akot Arec in 2004 in his position as Pastor for Missions at Christ Church in Overland Park, Kansas, where he served the parish for two and one-half years. In November 2005, Tom left his position as Missions Pastor to start a new organization, Sudan Sunrise (www.sudansunrise.org). The mission of Sudan Sunrise is to facilitate reconciliation and Christian mission by furthering the work of Sudanese Christians coming to the aid of their former persecutors, the Muslims of Darfur, and extending Christian ministries of relief, development, evangelism, and discipleship throughout Sudan.
