Who are we?

We are a small, diverse group of volunteers brought together by God’s hand
to minister to the needs of the community of Akon, Sudan by helping them to build a clinic
where they can provide health care and education as well as Bible training.

The young boy pictured here died hours later of malaria.
Without proactive measures to reduce malaria-carrying mosquitoes,
mosquito nets to keep them from biting at night
and anti-malarial drugs to treat the disease itself,
malaria is one of the biggest killers in this region.

Who are we?

We are mothers and fathers who look at this child
and know that our children in the United States would not die of malaria—
or many other diseases which afflict southern Sudan
because of the lack of preventive measures
and access to health care.

Who are we?

We are individuals
who share the unwavering conviction
that we can make a difference
in the lives of those in Akon
by sharing God’s love
through health, education
and evangelism.

Are you one of us?
